🌈 Bodies Are Cool

A joyful celebration of every kind of body, reminding little ones that every body is good, unique, and wonderfully cool!

Why I chose it

I chose this one because children deserve to see themselves and the people around them represented with joy, kindness, and confidence.

From big bodies and small bodies to different skin tones, hair textures, abilities, and physical features, Bodies Are Cool celebrates the incredible variety of human bodies.

With an uplifting refrain and colourful illustrations filled with people enjoying everyday life, Tyler Feder creates an inviting introduction to body positivity and self-acceptance. A 2022 ALA RISE: A Feminist Book Project List Pick, the book also received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Booklist, and School Library Journal.
