Change Starts with Us — Sophie Beer

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference! 💛 This colourful, uplifting picture book celebrates the little things we can all do to make the world a kinder place, from helping a friend to caring for our planet. With bright, playful illustrations and a positive message, it reminds little readers that everyone has the power to make a difference.

Why I chose it

I chose this one for little readers who are learning about kindness, inclusion and how their actions affect the people around them.

I love how this book makes big ideas feel simple and achievable. It shows children that making the world a better place doesn't have to start with something enormous — it can start with sharing, helping, including someone new or simply being kind. It's a lovely way to introduce conversations about empathy, community and taking care of our world.
