Olivia

Olivia — Ian Falconer

Meet Olivia: a spirited little pig who is good at lots of things, gets bored easily and has a BIG personality! From trying on every outfit she owns to visiting an art museum and recreating a famous painting at home, Olivia does everything with her own unmistakable flair. With witty storytelling and striking illustrations in black, white and splashes of red, this is a wonderfully funny story about a little character who knows her own mind. 🐷

Why I chose it

I chose this one for little readers who are full of personality, big ideas and a determination to do things their own way.

I love Olivia's confidence and imagination. She's curious, creative and never afraid to express herself — even when her enthusiasm leaves the grown-ups a little exhausted! It's a funny celebration of individuality that reminds us there's no need to be just like everyone else. 💛
